Get into the holiday spirit with this fun and festive glass fusion workshop with our new instructor Josie Bachetti! You’ll design and make three colorful holiday ornaments using sheet glass, sparkling frit (crushed glass), and playful stringers (thin rods). With plenty of materials and inspiration, you can create timeless favorites or try themed designs such as a Santa suit, a gingerbread house, and a melting snowman – perfect for decorating your tree or gifting to someone special. Your ornaments will be kiln-fired at the instructor Josie's studio to permanently fuse your designs into smooth, sparkling creations that will shine for many holidays to come. You will be emailed when you can pick up your finished pieces, just in time to decorate your holiday tree! This workshop is beginner-friendly! Fall is the perfect time to grab those watercolors and explore the beautiful colors nature offers! Join SuzAnne for a relaxing evening of painting while we explore several techniques to create a serene fall scene. All supplies are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. We will be painting on watercolor paper while exploring a variety of brushes, sponges, and items including plastic wrap. Bring a family member or a friend and double your fun. You'll design and create 4 unique pieces 3 pendants and 1 magnetic pin. Your creations will be the perfect personal accessory or heartfelt gift. Choose from a dazzling array of materials including fusible colored glass, dichroic and iridescent glass, stringers, frit, and pre-fired decorative elements to bring your vision to life. After the workshop, Marcelle will carefully take your creations home for kiln firing. Your finished pieces will be returned just a few days later, ready to wear or share!
